In breve
In the contemporary and global world, sustainability has become essential in the cultural sector and for cultural institutions, being today much more than only an environmental issue: it is not only about reducing ecological footprint or decarbonizing, but it is also about the power of culture and cultural institutions to act as drivers for economic, social and environmental sustainability through the involvement of the communities.

In this context, the online course provides cultural practitioners with a wide framework on the issue of sustainability in culture: thanks to the collaboration of 9 institutions worldwide, all part of the G20 Network of Cultural Business Management Training Institutions, the course offers a unique perspective on the topic providing a multifaceted vision on sustainability in culture, shaped by a variety of cultural, geographical and academic points of view. The presentation of cases studies, best practices and policies implemented on a global level, enrich the course presenting cultural practitioners with practical tools and empowering them to implement changes within their organizations to guide a real change in culture towards long term sustainability.
The course has been conceived, designed and developed by the partner institutions of the G20 Cultural Business Management Training Network:

The content of the videos is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Due to differences in cultural, legal, economic, and institutional contexts across countries, approaches to sustainability in the cultural sector may vary. The views, opinions, and practices presented in the videos reflect therefore the perspective and experience of the partner institution that has realized the video and do not necessarily represent the perspective of the network as a whole or of the other partner institutions.
