In breve
This training program is the result of a partnership between the Fondazione Scuola dei Beni e delle attività culturali and ICCROM, with the support and collaboration of the University of Bologna, represented by Prof. Luca Zan and Prof. Paolo Ferri.
The Undertaking Business in Culture project is an international training and mentoring initiative that promotes youth entrepreneurship in the cultural and creative sector in Africa and Italy through the interaction and exchange between young professionals and established experts from different geographical backgrounds. The initiative aims to equip participants with the tools to transform ideas into concrete and sustainable projects while enhancing their existing entrepreneurial knowledge and skills.
The training program will be conducted in English and is open to 20 young entrepreneurs from Italy, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Uganda, selected through a call for applications.
The lessons will be conducted online through the Distance Learning (FAD) platform over the course of 12 weeks, from September 18th to December 15th, 2023. The activities will consist of 5 frontal webinars and 10 working groups (2 after each webinar) and will be delivered by both Italian and African instructors, jointly selected by the Fondazione, ICCROM, and experts from the University of Bologna.
